چکیده

Difference equations provide an important framework for analysis of dynamical phenomena in biology, ecology, economics, and so forth. For example, in population dynamics discrete systems adequately describe organisms for which births occur in regular, usually short, breeding seasons. Recently the problem of oscillation and nonoscillation of solutions for nonlinear delay difference equations has been intensively studied; see monographs [1, 2, 7–9] and references therein for more details. In this paper we study the following nonlinear difference equation

On the Dynamic of a Nonautonomous

Nonlinear difference equations of higher order are important in applications; such equations appear naturally as discrete analogues of differential and delay differential equations which model various diverse phenomena in biology, ecology, economics, physics and engineering. The study of dynamical properties of such equations is of great importance in many areas. The autonomous difference equat...

Asymptotic properties of solutions of difference equations with several delays and Volterra summation equations

We study a scalar linear difference equation with several delays by transforming it to a system of Volterra equations without delays. The results obtained for this system are then used to establish oscillation criteria and asymptotic properties of solutions of the considered equation.

Oscillation of equations with an infinite distributed delay

−∞ x(s) dsR(t, s) = 0 the existence of nonoscillatory solutions is studied. A general comparison theorem is obtained which allows to compare oscillation properties of equations with concentrated delays to integrodifferential equations. Sharp nonoscillation conditions are deduced for some autonomous integrodifferential equations. Using comparison theorems, an example is constructedwhere oscillat...
